London-based indie folk band, Mumford & Sons will be making their way to Asia for their upcoming tour in November. Mumford & Sons are made up of members; Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall, and Ted Dwane. To date, the band have released four studio albums: Sigh No More, Babel, Wilder Mind, and Delta. Their debut album ‘Sigh No More’ won them Best British Album of 2011 at the Brit Awards. Throughout their career, they have been nominated and won a number of awards. They have also headlined some of the world’s esteemed festivals such as Coachella and Glastonbury.
In their earlier days, they were synonymously known for highlighting bluegrass and folk instrumentation in their music. Fast forward to their third album, they have strayed away from the banjo and instead, replaced it with an electric guitar and drums. This shift in instrumentation has made their music more heavier and extensive.
